We are very pleased to have these spectacular Asian Silk Martingale wide collars on our site! These special dog collars come in three widths and offer two choices of hardware, brass or silver tone. The wide width Martingale dog collar is used primarily by Sightounds such as the regal Saluki and Grey Hounds. The Sighthound Breed needs wide collars to protect their trachea when walking on a lead. A more narrow collar can collapse the trachea in a dog breed with long slender necks if the dog lunges suddenly. The Martingale dog collar is also specifically designed with a unique release feature built into it's design that is very good for dogs which have a tendency to pull on their lead when walking. The Martingale collar will tighten gently on the dog's neck if he pulls and will release when the dog stops pulling and walks as he should by your side.

The Martingale collar is very nice for other larger breeds as well and that is why most of our collars are offered in three widths...1", 1½" and 2". All our Martingale collars are handmade using the finest materials. We will be adding other style materials in our Martingale Dog collars as fast as possible.
